Angel Sprague, Queen of Chaos
I mentioned I'm a creator...There's a lot to me, and my background. I am a neuroatypical mix of autistic, ADHD, and bipolar personality oddities with a lot of quirks and a weird sense of humor. I seem to have a recurring habit getting the absolute unholy giggles on stream (it's usually contagious!) and well, what can I say...I love laughing! I've also received a bit of recognition and have been interviewed on several channels for being one of the few traditional songwriters with an appreciation of AI, specifically AI music (Yeah, I said I'm odd, right?! There are many folks who scratch their heads as to WHY ON EARTH anyone would think anything remotely like that...the two camps are usually DEEPLY divided, the traditional musicians on one side, and the AI creators on the other.)
How I Got Started Doing What I Do
It all began when I first started out on YouTube as a gamer some time around ten-ish years ago. I dabbled in Twitch streaming for gaming at first, too. I was mostly focused on Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 14 originally. I did tutorials and fun guild events starting in about 2019. (Cute side trivia too: Gaming was how I met my husband, Eric Sprague, as well! We got married after playing online together for quite some time!) As I made content for my gaming channels, I taught myself new software and tools, leading into my exploration of the Adobe Suite as well as music creation and DAWs. That's when I really started making songs! The very first things I made were designed as custom soundtracks to gaming videos. I started out using loops and samples, moving quickly to teaching myself the ins and outs of MIDI. It has been quite a process since then!
I'm always learning!
I have now evolved my methods to use direct input from guitar and bass and have worked on developing my skills on both instruments and fine tuning my vocals! While I do have a hand injury that makes it difficult to play guitar, I'm always learning, always perfecting, even now. It's my quest to keep getting better! Everything on my YouTube and Spotify release list is 100% human made. My personal original creations are on all streaming services under my artist name, "Angelwreck." All songwriting, instrumentals, vocals, and production are me and me alone!
My AI Connection and Why It Matters
So, you may wonder...how exactly DID I come to BE the Queen of Chaos...and how does the AI stuff figure in? Short answer: In my travels through other streamers' shows, I fell in love with AI created music, despite being a traditional songwriter. The more I saw, the more I liked. As I discovered the community that loves all things AI, be it music, videos, etc, I found my home...and the shenanigans began! I have since gone out of my way to fight off AI hate in places dedicated to creators that love it. I have become somewhat known for my...interesting position and how I came to settle on it. I created the current live stream JUST so I can welcome Suno creators to a space where they can be excited about their music without fear of harassment and judgment RIGHT ALONG WITH standard musicians! :) Somehow, I ended up being the show everyone brings WEIRD stuff to...No idea on that...but I've embraced it, and now Chaos is the name of my crew! So began Angelwreck Music After Dark, and the Crew keeps growing daily!
